A perfect lake experience. Sunrise and sunset kayak trips, a sky full of stars with the big dipper over our heads, fishing off the dock, and morning coffee overlooking peaceful and calm waters, and a beautiful cottge...doesn't get any better

The property manager was very easy to get in contact and very prompt with any concerns that were had. The property was very clean and had everything that we needed.

We had a awesome stay, the cottage was beautiful, we were right on the lake. We were close to lighthouses, restaurants, and couple of nice winery's. The only thing that need to be improved upon, there isn't enough seating , we got rained in few times. They only had a couch, mabey get love seat, or couple comfy chairs. The check in time and check out time should be changed. 10am is to early, 11 is traditional check out time and 3pm is traditional check in time, when your paying for the full day's, you should get the majority of the hours

We enjoyed our 3-night stay while enjoying the colors in the Manistee area. The cabin may sleep 8, but has a small living area, which was fine for the two of us. Cottage was clean, though there were cobwebs in a couple of areas. Kitchen is good, well-equipped, and clean. We missed having local network TV available. We were unable to find it. Some conflicting instructions between on the wall posting and more recent (we guessed) in the notebook provided. Nice Dish TV package, but no locals, even over the air. Got to visit the Michigan Sequoia trees, which was great, and enjoyed Big Al's Pizza -- a must! Oh, and something non-skid in the bathtub would be nice.

The cottage was clean and cozy. The view and area was stunning. I would love to stay there again.

We had a lovely time at this beach house. It was right on the water, down a flight of steps, which is exactly what we were looking for. It had everything we needed and we hope to go again.

Our family reunion fishing trip was awesome with a well equipped cottage with an awesome view and access to Lake Michigan. Very close to everything Manistee has to offer -- shopping, restaurants, beaches. etc. and also Onekama Charter Fishing on Sandpiper III. Great time and very clean!

The property was perfect for our purposes. Our Family of 6 (4 teenagers and 2 parents). There is beach access, fishing, hiking, and great food selection all close to the property, while still feeling secluded and tranquil!

We really enjoyed our week. GPS is correct for this location. Plenty of parking. Very nice house, great condition and very clean. House is stocked well with supplies and kitchen necessities. Great having a washer and dryer. Very nice view of the bayou. Lots of wildlife viewing, especially Canadian Geese which love the lawn, so watch your step. Nice dock for your boat, but take caution on the bayou, it’s very a shallow. Once you get out to the main lake, it’s very nice and plenty of depth. If you like to golf, there is a very nice golf course about 5 minutes away, which they serve breakfast too. Communication with Nikki was great, very responsive and informative. You’ll be happy with your stay.

My friends and I decided to take a group trip. This cabin was perfect for us! It was extremely clean! The location is not far from town. The perfect mix of being in the woods but close enough to the quaint town of Baldwin. It was very nice to have three kayaks and a one-person canoe. The dock and bayou were very peaceful. They have all the cookware you will ever need. I would highly recommend it!

My family had a great weekend away at The Red Door Cottage. Very peaceful property to relax, enjoy the views, and have a fun family weekend. We were very happy to be able to bring our two Frenchies as well. The house was very clean, spacious, and had several amenities like games, yard games, kayaks and canoes. Really enjoyed sitting on the upper deck to the house and loved how didn't have a stair case so dogs were contained as well. West Shore Vacation was wonderful to work with. Quick responses to any question. We spent days driving to Ludington to explore as not far away. Highly recommend and we look forward to renting again in the future.

Week away at the lake with the family. The place was great. Nice, clean and cozy, it fit our needs perfect.

House was great. We brought a boat and it was great having a dock to enjoy the lake each day.

The cottage was wonderful. Clean, comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace on the chilly, rainy fall nights. Great yard and areas to enjoy being outside.. unfortunately the rain kept us from really being able to enjoy it.

Secluded cabin, clean and quiet. Good accurate description of property. Good, inexpensive golf course, close to Pere Marquette river access.

The home was extremely well kept. Plenty of space for two families to come together. The property management company was excellent with communication. There are enough activities in the house without even including the lake. You can launch your boat nearby (1/4 mile) and dock it right out back! We had a phenomenal time! Neighbors are super friendly as well. The only thing I can suggest is making sure people know when booking that cell service is severely lacking so you may need an actual map or written directions to find the house. Wi-Fi worked great once we were there. No service wasn’t a problem for us but it could be for some. Overall amazing experience!!

We stayed here with our two teenage boys and dog. It exceeded our expectations. The house was beautiful and had everything we could have needed. There was more than enough room for all of us. The boys loved fishing, boating, and kayaking. Our fur-baby felt welcome which isn't always how it feels when you have a pet. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and offered towels, linens, soaps, streaming service and internet. The kitchen had everything you could need. The grill was a bit dirty, but not a big deal. We didn't mind being in the "bayou" part of the lake as some people. There is a party store/sub-pizza place right down the road. Overall, we had a great week
& enjoyed the rental very much.

Home in like we’re both a total gem!!

The home was beautiful and immediately comfortable to be in. It provided a great space for family of all ages to have their space and hang out. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with cooking and baking dishes. The grassy area by the water had some issues with goose droppings, which made it difficult to play down there. Yet it was wonderful to be able to dock the boats. The property management company was excellent at communications and answered all my questions. Will definitely recommend and consider staying at again!

Exactly what we needed. Very relaxing,quiet and a great lake to run the boat on.

The house was cozy and inviting. We loved the views from the large windows and watching movies by the fireplace. I would recommend this house and it’s as beautiful as the pictures.

This was our 3rd stay at Timeless Memories and we will return again! This house has everything! It is so CLEAN and well stocked. I mean, a rental that has soft, 2-ply toilet paper??
Check-in/out was so easy.
Love the location..we could walk to all of our favorite restaurants. A fire pit is a must for us and we used it every night. The house has a real family & home feel instead of a rental. Thank you to the owners for sharing it!
I would prefer not renting through VRBO but not sure what options you have with that.

The beautiful Victorian house we stayed in was very clean and stocked with all you could ever need! The host responded very quickly to a question I had and was willing to go above and beyond! I would definitely recommend staying here. The location was perfect to see all that Ludington has to offer.

Very nice, clean,well-equipped home. Plenty of room for our extended families. Great location, walkable (8 mins or so) to downtown Ludington and even the beach, if you want a little more excercise. The ONLY complaint is that the home has central air and the main living area stays nice and cool but the upstairs bedrooms can get a little stuffy if it's warm outside. Not sure if the unit isn't large enough or if the ductwork needs to be modified but at least something the owner should consider. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and would come back and also recommend to friends.

This house was perfect for our large family biannual week vacation. The house had literally everything we needed! Plenty of kitchen utensils and such, and every random thing that you think you'd have to run out and grab, plus things you didn't know you needed, like a tandem bike and yard dice! We also really appreciated the 2 refrigerators. The property manager responded quickly when we had a water issue. We highly recommend this place and hope to return one day.

Many old house charm with a modern kitchen and an excellent front porch to enjoy and the back yard with fire pit was a joy. Whenever we thought of something they seemed to have already considered it and it was available. A GEM

As usual, we had a wonderful time a great experience. The house was in great shape. We had plenty of beds and everything that we needed. Lots of towels. It was a great stay. This was our second year and we may make it an annual thing.

The house is set up very well for large groups. The management company was great with communication!

It was a Family Reunion with 15 of us - Kids and Grandkids! This house checked every box for us! Plenty of common space and plenty of personal space! It was a close walk to everything in town and it felt like home! Thank you for a wonderful experience! We will definitely book again!

This was a great rental! House was spacious, well stocked, well organized. Access to the garage with its bikes, tent umbrella, games was wonderful. Four teenage grandchildren who could have easily driven to lake and town chose to ride bikes everywhere! Pickleball courts, frisbee golf in the beautiful Michigan woods, kayaking on Hamlin Lake, dune rides, corn hole competitions, ending the day around the fire pit kept us all busy and entertained. Good eateries in town, and music at Waterfront Park added to a very good experience. Management was great. Air conditioning went our one evening and repair was done promptly next morning (fixed properly, not with a bandaid)
House was located on the main drag through town. Noisy in the morning with traffic, but you could not hear noise inside. Evenings were quiet in
backyard. Inspite of this, my family chose to have coffee on the front porch each morning. We had a lovely week!

Timeless Memories was fantastic for our family/friends group of 12. So clean and supplied everything we could have wanted. Loved the location...we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. And so much space...rooms were bigger than they look in the pix. I rate this rental as high as the system allows

This rental provided our family of 14 plenty of space for the week. The kitchen is loaded with everything you'll need and the 3.5 bathrooms were a great plus with the size of our group. We requested the floors be mopped as they appeared to not have been done in awhile and Nikki was great with getting the house cleaner to the house in a timely fashion.
